On Friday, 11 October, 10 UVI and 2 LVI students, along with Mrs Paddock and Mrs Handy, travelled to Oxfordshire to attend the event.
Following dinner in Radley's Harry Potter-esque Victorian Dining Hall, the students delivered philosophy-themed presentations. Radley began with a thought-provoking talk on personality and memory, with a poignant link to the impact of Alzheimer's, while St Mary’s explored different concepts of free will and questioned its existence.
A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all, and we look forward to welcoming Radley back to Calne in the new year.
