Sixth Form Thinking Supper With Radley College

St Mary’s Sixth Form students were excited to continue the tradition of the termly Thinking Supper with Radley College.

On Friday, 11 October, 10 UVI and 2 LVI students, along with Mrs Paddock and Mrs Handy, travelled to Oxfordshire to attend the event.

Following dinner in Radley's Harry Potter-esque Victorian Dining Hall, the students delivered philosophy-themed presentations. Radley began with a thought-provoking talk on personality and memory, with a poignant link to the impact of Alzheimer's, while St Mary’s explored different concepts of free will and questioned its existence. 

A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all, and we look forward to welcoming Radley back to Calne in the new year.
