I hope you had a wonderful Easter break and spent some quality time with friends and family. I have so enjoyed hearing all about the tennis trip to Spain and following the regular Instagram updates. It almost felt as if I was there with them! If you are not already following our social media accounts, I encourage you to do so. It is a great way to stay connected and feel part of school life, wherever you are.
As I reminded everyone in Chapel on Wednesday, we have a full and exciting term ahead. There is always something extra special about the Summer Term with the hope of warmer weather and lighter evenings. While exams and assessments are on the horizon for all, there is also much to look forward to with residential trips, weekend activities, and plenty of Calne fun along the way.
I also spoke about our Win Your Own Race motto, encouraging us all to reflect on our individual goals for this term and striving to achieve our very best as the academic year concludes in just over eight weeks’ time. I want each and every pupil to reflect and be proud of their own achievements this year and ensure they are embracing every opportunity to win their own race.
At the end of next week, I will be making a brief visit to Hong Kong to meet with alumnae, current and prospective families and future Calne girls. Although it is a short trip, it is one I greatly value, and I very much look forward to seeing many of you.
Finally, we are looking forward to our next Open Day on Saturday, 17 May. Places are filling up quickly, so if you know of any families who may be interested in attending, please do encourage them to get in touch.
