Reunions & Events |
We were so delighted to welcome back 2002 & 2003 Leavers for their 20-year overnight reunion at St Mary's. In spite of the dreadful weather, everyone enjoyed a full tour of the school, houses, dorms & grounds before being joined by Miss Lilian Leadbetter for drinks before supper in the Dining Hall.
With so much chatter and laughter, it was a brilliant opportunity to catch up news with friends and share stories and memories. The dining room was full of excitment and everyone enjoyed a delicious summer supper.
Following late night chat & a good night's sleep in Florence Dyas Sixth Form Boarding House, breakfast was served before everyone departed - back to their current lives - and were so pleased to have returned to their 'school days' and seen how much is still the same!
As Onnagh wrote 'It was great to explore the old and new parts of the School, and so fun to see everyone who came. Amazing how quickly we all reverted to being like teens, chatting and giggling into the early hours!'
Many thanks to the CGA for their generous sponsorship of this event.
