Reunions & Events |
On Thursday 14th November, approximately 65 alumnae, interspersed with a few parents and 21 girls from the Sixth Form, gathered at the Anthropologie store in Chelsea for an evening of inspiration and storytelling, courtesy of the Calne Girls' Association and Hub Dot. Set up in 2012 and now operating in 23 cities worldwide, Hub Dot is a unique networking platform which aims to remove societal categorizations such as a title, or job description and replace them with five specific Dots representing your current mindset.
It was a phenomenally successful evening. Including the open mic speakers, we had around 16 different one-minute talks, all given by members of the St Mary’s community, either sharing their professional, personal, or holistic wisdom or seeking help and advice from one another and making potentially life- changing connections while drinking prosecco and eating delicious canapés. It was a lovely way to spend a miserably wet and windy autumn evening.
