The competitiveness of Inter Company matches was on show for the Sixth Form Inter Company lacrosse, with appearances from team players, some new faces, and lots of costumes on show. Following the success of the smaller sided competition this year in the SMC Cup, the format for the games was Lacrosse Sixes. This meant that the action was fast and quick with players having to adapt to the speed of play. The first games saw wins for Grosstete and Poore but, with points being awarded for scores as well as wins, everything was to play for.
At the end of the games, it was a close contest for 1st to 4th place, with the top two teams having to be separated by goal difference as well as 3rd and 4th place.
Final standings:
1: Poore (16 Points)
2: Moberly (16 points)
3: Ed Rich (11 points)
4: Grosstete (11 points)
5: Osmund (2 points)
Congratulations to all!
Mr David Abini
Head of Lacrosse
