We are fortunate to have a community of parents, alumnae and friends who are passionate about the future and the continued evolution of St Mary’s Calne.
Our parents are hugely supportive of the school – many make regular donations to our charity - The Calne Foundation Trust (which supports bursaries and scholarships as well as Capital Projects) – and/or offer their talents, expertise and guidance.
Juan-Enrique Rassmuss & Joanne Avery
Our daughter studied at St Mary's and it was a great experience for her, really shaping her into the intelligent and thoughtful person we are so proud of today. It is a privilege to be able to offer the same opportunity to other girls.
Sally Harley-Martin
“I worked with the St Mary's team to design a garden at the centre of the school. This is my contribution to the Shaping the Future programme to improve the facilities and environment for our girls.”
Vicky Wilson
“Tennis has brought me huge joy all my life. I am delighted to support one of the Springboard Girls by giving her the opportunity to have tennis coaching.”
“We donated the deposit we made when our daughter joined the school 7 years ago. It's wonderful to think that this is now going towards supporting one of the transformational bursaries the school is offering to a girl from a disadvantaged background.”
“We make a regular gift of £25 per month – this helps towards cello lessons for a talented girl who wouldn't otherwise have this opportunity.”
