The Marchioness of Lansdowne was educated at Benenden School, Kent, The Chelsea School of Art and the Inchbald School of Design. She became an Associate Director of the internationally renowned interior decoration company Colefax and Fowler before starting her own Interior Design business in the early 80s. She is President of the Wiltshire Blind Association and Patron of four other Wiltshire based charities. She organises the annual Bowood Charity Dog Show and Summer Fair and many other charitable events and, assisting her husband, runs a major tourist attraction at Bowood
